Stainless steel pipe fittings are used to connect, control, or change the direction of stainless steel pipes. They are commonly used in plumbing systems, industrial processes, and various applications where a secure and leak-free connection is required.
Weldolets are typically made of carbon steel or stainless steel and are welded onto the main pipe to create a secure and permanent connection.
A weldolet is a branch butt-weld connection fitting that is attached to an output pipe in order to reduce stress concentrations in the piping region. The most frequent type of branch fitting is the weldolet. They’re a type of butt welding fitting that comes in a number of sizes. They are used as an alternative to fittings such as elbows or tees, which can be more complex to install and may require additional support.

MSS SP-97:
MSS SP-97 is a standard developed by the Manufacturers Standardization Society (MSS) of the Valve and Fittings Industry. It specifically addresses integrally reinforced branch outlet fittings, including Weldolets. Weldolets are branch connections that are welded onto the run pipe, allowing for a smooth transition and the creation of a smaller branch pipe.

The method of analysis for nitrogen shall be a matter of agreement between the purchaser and manufacturer
Columbium 0.10-0.30%; Vanadium 0.10-0.30%.
For small diameter or thin walls, or both, where many drawing passes are required, a carbon maximum of 0.04% is necessary in grades TP304L and TP316L. Small outside diameter tubes are defined as those less than 0.500in.(23.7mm) in outside diameter and light wall tubes as those less than 0.049in.(1.24mm) in average wall thickness
