Carbon Steel A234 WPB Buttweld Fittings are made of carbon steel that conform to the ASTM A234 WPB standard & they are typically used in high-pressure and high-temperature applications such as oil and gas pipelines, power plants, and chemical plants. The fittings are known for their high strength, durability, and corrosion resistance properties. They can be easily connected to pipes and other fittings by butt welding, which is a type of welding where the fittings are inserted into the ends of the pipes to be joined together.
